The short version: this site doesn't track you with advertising cookies. We don't sell data. We don't train AI models on what you read here. When you share data with us, it's used only to give you grades and peer benchmarks.
This Privacy Notice explains what information we collect from visitors to publicweave.com, how we use it, and your choices. Public Weave LLC is the data controller.
Our product applications at go.publicweave.com and spd.publicweave.com have additional practices — if you sign in there, you'll be presented with the applicable terms.
When you visit publicweave.com, we automatically receive standard web-server information: IP address (typically passed via Cloudflare), browser type and version, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamp. This is used for security, performance, and to understand which sections of the site are useful. We do not combine this information with advertising identifiers.
If you use the search bar on this site, your search term is passed to go.publicweave.com so you can view the resulting report card. If you click "Request a Demo" or "Contact," your email client opens — we don't collect your message until you hit send.
publicweave.com uses only essential session cookies required for the site to function. We do not set marketing or analytics cookies without notice. If we introduce analytics in the future, this page will be updated.
We use Cloudflare for content delivery and DDoS protection. Cloudflare receives standard web-traffic information (IP, user-agent, timestamps) as part of normal internet routing. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Our product applications use additional services (Anthropic for WeaverAI, Voyage AI for document embeddings). Those services are governed by the product terms — not this marketing-site notice.
This site is intended for adults — directors, board members, researchers, journalists, and engaged residents. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
Standard web-server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting, then purged. If you email us, we retain correspondence for as long as needed to address your inquiry plus a reasonable period thereafter.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days.
We use industry-standard measures: HTTPS/TLS on every page, server-side session management where needed, access controls, and regular security review. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the responsibility seriously.
